Job Description

· While he/she should have a strong understanding of the Leisure & Hospitality industry in India; candidates with international exposure or those who have managed a similar profile overseas would be preferred. · This role mainly encapsulates strategic planning and business development to gain hotel management contracts for Brands Leisure & Hospitality division both in India and abroad. · Candidate should have ability to quickly grasp and gain strong understanding of brand and the unique value propositions offered through its chain of boutique properties/resorts in India &abroad. · As a prospect, you are expected to showcase and present the brand to prospective partners across India and international locations who own properties that could be pitched for being managed by the Company. · You are also expected to bring with you a strong network of connections with whom you could liaise to create opportunities for company to manage or invest. · Candidate should have strong analytical skills, be proactive & an innovative business development professional who is smart with working his/her ways through to identify new opportunities and pursue them to get new business. · We are looking for a candidate who identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments. · He/she locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. · Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.The candidate should also be able to build spread-sheets & draft feasibility studies · Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals. · Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations. · Protects organization's values by keeping information confidential and works towards developing a profitable business model of managing hotels in India and particularly overseas. · Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. ####### Travel to Kerala and Europe Required. (Valid Passport and willing to travel abroad)#######

Preferences Overseas exposure, has worked for a leading hospitality brand in a similar profile either in India or abroad, has a good blend of sales (business development), analytical and convincing skills.## Overseas BDM Exposure is Preferred. ##
